2017 a year of Simplicity | Utah Photographer

Baby it’s Cold outside!!

Within the last two days we have received nearly 2 feet of snow! Most of my time was spent shoveling and snow blowing. I apply the same OCD detail to my driveway clearing as I do to my photo editing. So it’s needless to say, but I’ll say it anyways… I am glad it stopped so that I can come inside. But I’m so glad it snowed because I have been waiting for the perfect snowy day to share these fun snowy captures! Heart eyes to the moon for this couple!

2017 The year of Simplicity!

I don’t typically see my strengths… I am not a super confident person. But I will say that I do have a talent with organization. Because of this I usually find myself taking on too much. I figure that because I CAN fit it into my schedule I SHOULD! Well Let me tell you… no more of that. Ok that is a little strong. Maybe I should say, I am going to try and do better. I have decided that the part of my life that I want to start with in terms of simplifying will be my business! Don’t get me wrong, I plan for more growth this year than in any so far. BUT I am planning to pave this road to higher goals with less! I have always heard it been said that Less is More. Never have I followed that rule, but I plan to start!

So first thing to hit the Board is my Pricing.

Starting Today 1 will offer 1 package for Families, Seniors, and all Other Shoots alike. This package is a 45 minute to 1 hour session and it will include an online gallery of downloadable images. I still enjoy being able to help those who are looking for more! So there will be A la Carte options available and I will still be offering Print Products for anyone that is interested in that!  I hope to offer mini sessions twice through out the year.  The dates that are available for the Winter Mini Sessions will be announced tomorrow so please return!

I am so excited to continue along this journey to simplifying the way I do business in hopes to also simplify your experience! Thank you to EVERYONE that has supported me along this journey! You are all so dear to me and my family!

HAPPY 2017 Everyone!  May it be the Best Yet!

A Photographer's Birthday | Logan Utah Photographer -I thought I would give ya'll a fun insider look into how I  (Photographer, Business Owner, Mom, and Wife) celebrated turning the BIG 32!- Since I've been getting "old fogey like" celebrating my Birthday still happens, but it tends to be spread out through the week of my Birthday. I am not complaining mind you, celebrating all week is freakin' Fantastic. But what ends up happening is that on my Actual Birthday I found my Morning Free. What do I do? Work of course. I spent the morning at one of my favorite local restaurants (The Waffle Iron) getting to know one of my 2017 Brides. If ...
I’m Not as Strong as I thought…
Naia Tomlinson | MelB Photography |  Logan Utah Photographer In my adult years I have always prided myself on being Emotionally Strong. I don't cry often... and so I took that as strength. This week has shown me that I have been mistaken. I am not as Strong as I thought... There is this Sweet redheaded 19 month old little girl that sits in front of us every Sunday. And when I say sit, you should know we will use that word lightly... because usually she is coming back to my bench to give me a huge smile, or trying to make her way up on the stand, or grabbing the microphones laid out for Fast and Testimony meetings.  Everyone that sits aro ...
