Denzil Stewart Nature Park

Kenzie Ward is amazing and has formed a group of photographers that plan styled shoots once every month! Our first month was January and I am so glad that I was able to attend!

You may remember the lovely Ashlie that I blogged a few days back… If you missed it check it out HERE!

If I wasn’t lucky enough to be able to shoot one Stunning young lady, I was given the opportunity to photography two! This is Kevyn! She was such a trooper! As you can tell the snow was to mid thigh in places and she handled it like a champ! I had just shot at this park a few days previously and so I came prepared. I was bundled up nice and warm with my snow pants and winter boots! And because I came prepared I was able to make some pathways for our lovely models to walk through to hopefully keep them a little drier and warmer!

I had such a beautiful time on this shoot and I am grateful for my job and the many opportunities that  I have to photograph such amazingly beautiful young women! I told you two days ago that Kiersten had mastered her “Strut to the Camera” walk! Well Kevyn was also a Super Strut Master. I barely had to pose her! She new exactly what to do and where to look! When  I have a shoot like this where I am able to photograph 3 young men and women in 30 minutes and bust out so many fantastic photos, my urgency is boosted and all I want to do morning, noon, and night is take photos!

So Again Thank you for a beautiful time!

Ladies and Gentleman I introduce to you… Kevyn!

Senior “Role Model”
What is MelB Photography’s Senior Role Model Program? Well my dear friends… That is a fantastic question! Mother Teresa Once said | The Good you do today, people will often Forget. DO GOOD ANYWAY | This Motto  is something I try to live by. We all know that doing good things for others is the right thing. But how many of us feel frustrated when we are not recognized for the good we strive so hard to do. I know I am guilty of this myself. As humans it is in our nature to want some form of recognition for the good things we do. When that recognition is not given, we struggle to find the motivation to continue doing good things. So I want t ...

Cache Valley Photographer | High School Photographer || I was sitting in my room video taping myself giving my Sunday School Lesson... (I know I KNOW... What, why were you videotaping yourself giving your Sunday School Lesson? Well I'll tell you what... That lesson when I sat down and pressed play and had the kids watch me give the lesson on the TV and pause at appropriate moments for comments... It was the quietest but also the most interactive lesson we had all year. So no Judgey, Judgey)  Anyways... I was sitting in my room and I got a call. It was the mom of this gorgeous girl below! We talked for a bit about her daughter and how in ...
Props or No Props | That is the Question?!?
Props or No Props | That is the Question?!? -Props or No Props | Logan Utah Photographer | MelB Photography- In a previous post I gave a brief opinion about Props. I thought I would dig a little more into this topic... When I first started MelB Photography I believed Props was where it was at! I went out right away and spent a mini fortune on all these adorable props! I would buy all these shabby items and turn them into adorable masterpieces! During my first year of business it was likely that if you drove by my home you would most likely see me out spray painting something. If not that there was certainly many multi colored props ...
